The Robert Frost Elementary PTSA will be holding a special membership meeting on October 1st at 7pm in the Robert Frost Elementary Library to vote on taking a position in alignment with Washington State PTA (WSPTA) on the three initiatives on the November Ballot.
WSPTA has adopted a position of Oppose on the following initiatives:
IL26-001 “Concerns parental rights relating to their children in public schools”
IL26-638 “Concerns participation in athletics at K-12 schools”
IP26-645 “Concerns state and local taxes”
The Membership may vote to Oppose or to stay neutral (no action) on one or all of these initiatives.
If the Membership chooses to support the Oppose position, we will also vote on whether to support the position with funds (working within our budget) or without funds (volunteer time only – social media posts).
